Bronchitis is an infection of the main airways of the lungs (bronchi), causing them to become irritated and inflamed. This type of cough produces yellow-gray phlegm and is normally accompanied by cold-like symptoms such as the stuffy nose, headache, and fatigue.
 
Ultimately, the best treatment for bronchitis is rest and fluids, which can prevent dehydration and also thin the phlegm.

Some people drink pineapple juice daily to reduce mucus in the throat and suppress coughing.

  • Take 1 cup pineapple juice.
  • Add it with 1 teaspoon chopped ginger.
  • Now, add 1 tablespoon honey with it.

  • Then,drink 1/4 cup up to three times per day.

  • Then, add half a teaspoon of salt until it gets dissolves.
  • Allow the solution to cool slightly before gargling.

NOTE:- Avoid giving saltwater to younger children as they may not be able to gargle properly, and also swallowing salt water can be dangerous for the body for them.
